LET'S TALK ABOUT BUSINESS...
YOUR BUSINESS!

Could you benefit by having your own Internet site?

About the Internet:

There is an estimated 40 million households with Internet access.  On the other side of the coin, there are also millions of web sites on the Internet.  There are secrets to getting found and having a successful internet business.  Here are just a few:

Everyone talks about "search engines" as the way to be located.   True, they are the starting point for a new web site, and there are thousands of them out there.  Only about ten are the "big ones".  When we develop your site, the first thing we do it get you listed with at least a hundred of them.
But there are other, equally or more important ways of being "found".   These include such things as "Chat Rooms", "Email Marketing" and "Newsgroups" and monthly newsletters.  We will get you knowledgeable on ways of getting activity to your site...and orders.

Here are some tips for being successful on the net:

1. Give your visitors something worth looking at.
2. Continually update your web site to keep them coming back...why?

Internet Marketing Rule Number One:  It is rare when a visitor will buy something on their first visit to a web site.  First of all, they don't know who you are or if you have any credibility.  It is up to you (and us) to establish that credibility on your web site.

Internet Marketing Rule Number Two:  Visitors on the Internet usually do NOT get on line to buy something.  That may shock some of you.   They get on line to get "FREE" information on whatever subject is of interest.  If you begin your site with a sales pitch for your product or service, the visitor won't make it past the first paragraph before switching to another site.

Internet Marketing Rule Number Three: When we develop a web site, we pay particular attention to how long it takes to load a screen when you click on a site.  You have probably had the experience of a slow loading opening screen due to excessive graphics.  They look nice once loaded, but the average visitor will wait only ten seconds and, if the page has not loaded, they will leave and go elsewhere.   Remember, if you are selling "widgets" and that's what they searched for, they will probably have ten thousand other sites selling widgets.  Why wait for a slow one to respond?

Internet Marketing Rule Number Four:  The average visitor will spend about 15 seconds at a website when it opens. If the site does "grab" the attention of the visitor in the first line (headline) they'll click out of it and go one to the next website on the list.  We concentrate on developing a headline and opening paragraph that will make your website "sticky".  In other words, it will hold the visitor's attention long enough to at least see what the website is all about and if it is what they are searching for.

One Final Marketing Tip:  Keep changing your site, at least portions of it.  We mentioned above that visitors will rarely buy on the first visit and, unless you give them a reason to visit more than once, they will not come back...and buy. (We will make suggestions and the updates for you).

Here are some commonly asked Questions and Answers:

Q:  Why would I want my own web site?
A:  To let the world know who you are and what you do.  To establish yourself as a professional and creditable.. (Please visit our web site at: www.oursite.com) is an excellent public relations media. It allows someone to learn about your company through a "third party" promotion, even if you are the one putting the information on line.

Q:  But I'm just a small company.  Won't I be lost with all of the big ones on the net?
A:  No.  The beauty of the internet is no one knows how large or small you are. (Unless, of course you are a Microsoft or IBM).  No one will know if you operate out of your home or one of our executive office suites or have a large, multi-national organization...unless you tell them.

Q:  Who can benefit by being on the Net?
A:  Anyone who has a product or service to sell. In fact, there are many successful sites that are devoted to selling someone else's products.  They have nothing of their own to sell.

Q: But my service is really a local service.  No one in Europe, or even 100 miles away will be interested.
A:  This is where your web address (URL) comes into play.  We try to obtain a web address that will pinpoint your particular service or product.  Notice that our company web site is: www.bocaraton-fl.com.   People know about Boca Raton, Florida , and if they want to learn more, we have a name (URL) that will assure they find us when they search for it.  If you have a local service, such as our "executive office suites", visitors to our site already know that what we are offering is probably in the Boca Raton, Florida area.   That's just part of the story when developing your web site.  It must be tailored to the way various search engines "search". This is through the "code" behind the site that visitors do not see.  That, again, is where we come in.

Q:  What can you do for me?
A:  Here is what we will do for you:
    1. Design and develop your web site
    2. Get you signed up for a web site address or name (URL) that is acceptable to you.
    3. Publish your web site on the Internet
    4. Get your site listed with 50-100 search engines
    5. Set up your account with a web hosting service (ISP)
    6. Furnish you with our informative brochures: "Hosting Your Own Web Site" with ideas on making the most of your new web site. It contains a wealth of information on how to successfully market your product or service plus facts about the Internet and Internet marketing.

Q: Alright, I have my own web site, what do I do now?
A: That's what our brochures will show you.  They cover such topics as:   Collecting and making use of Email addresses; how to attract visitors to your site; how to make the most of your site to obtain business; what you need to know about the Internet, etc.  We are also available to make suggestions on creating traffic and handling responses to your site.

Q:  How much will all of this cost?
A:  We will develop a basic web site and get you on line for as little as $500, plus the fee to "Internic" who runs the internet (About $70 for two years membership) and an ISP charges about $20 a month.  Any way you look at it, that's pretty inexpensive advertising... and it reaches a worldwide audience.

Q:  So, I can expect thousands of people to visit my site each day and maybe buy something?
A:  That would be nice, but it will not happen, at least not right away.  Once you are on line, it is up to you to make the most of the site.  Like any other businesses, the more you work at it, the more successful you will be.  If you have us establish you on line and then do nothing, your site will not be profitable.  In case you skipped over the opening paragraph on this page, please take a minute to re-read it.   It gives you a brief idea of what you need to do and what we can do to help you.
