Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in Boca Raton, Holds many concerts, plays and special events during the year
Museums:
Several museums
are located in the Boca Raton area and neighboring cities, including the new Boca
Raton Museum of Art.
Broadway Shows and Concerts:
Approximately 1/2 hour south of
Boca Raton is the Broward Theatre of Performing Arts in Ft. Lauderdale. Outstanding
Broadway shows, such as "LeMiserable", "Phantom of the Opera", Disney's
"The Lion King", and the Elton John version of "Aida" were recent presentations.
The magnificent theatre is state of the art.
About 1/2 hour north of Boca Raton is Kravis Center in West Palm Beach, where similar concerts and live shows are performed throughout the winter season.
Opera and Ballet come alive in Miami about 45 minutes south of Boca Raton.
